No notifications

Cameras work great but will not send notifications like they did when first started using them. You must physically check each camera for new pictures

Nice quality good pictures just not working for me

I wanted to like this trail camera, but it has a lot of flaws compared to others on market in same price range. It does seem to be sturdy and made well, but the specifics of operating it are where the flaws are in my opinion. I could not find the app to go with the software so I can't get real time pics and updates on my phone, bummer!! I also think the 8 double A batteries for operation is crazy! I would have expected and preferred a lithium ion battery. The included SD card is the only way I could see images and now my laptop doesn't work so that's out. I will not pay for a subscription to continue to see images so that's out too. So for my circumstances this camera doesn't work well for me at all anymore unless I take SD card to Walmart to print out pics and that's a lot of trouble. I can comment on the images I did see on micro SD card and they were of good quality and not blurry and even good night vision. I can also say that it was easy to setup and functioned well while I was able to use it.

Works without APP

This is a good little game camera, but I am not a big fan of subscriptions for service or a bunch of Chinese apps that are of dubious origins. I use it like any other game camera with the included SD card and find it to be a good little camera. It's easy to set up and while it requires a lot of batteries, they do last for some time. The picture quality is good and the product appears to be of good quality. The price is on par with other quality game cam's so the fact that I don't want to subscribe to 4G service is a non-factor. Knowing what you know from reading the reviews, you decide whether you want this camera.

Decent enough quality.

The camera is pretty good. I've only used the timed local recording option for now. I didn't want to pay for the subscription yet. At least, not until just before the season...all in all a good trail cam.

Easy to Set Up

We have a place in our side yard where wildlife have created a trail and even tore down one strand of the fence wire. We see deer, rabbits, squirrels, foxes, and more. So I wanted to try out this game camera. I love how it allows me to review the photos every few days and see what has been around. Unfortunately, while I have been testing this the wildlife has left a bit to be desired. There have been lots of birds and the south end of a northbound dog.

The photo resolution is 960 x 544, which is not terrible, but also not great. You get a free trial where you can access it from the app but after that you have to pay for that privilege. You can still use the camera using the included SD card.

The hardware itself is well made and is easy to set up.

Great

This trail cam is a must-have. It is easy to set up and use. It does require an SD card to view photos and videos.

Full featured trail camera.

I am not a hunter but rather a nature and wild animal enthusiast. I have numerous trail cameras including several cellular types that provide anywhere access. I live on a heavily wooded 15-acre property that adjoins a 400-acre nature preserve. I am an avid wildlife photographer and regularly venture into the field to capture wonderful images. These devices allow me to gain close-up access from the comfort of my living room, day or night. The motion detection works well and the image quality is great thanks to a quality lens. The no-glow infrared LED night vision ensures the animals are not scared away. The solar interface/connection jack means I don't have to worry about changing batteries as often.

Functional but flawed.

Received this item to test via the Amazon Vine program.

The unit seems well-built and functional, but I have had a horrendous time getting the app to function consistently. Im not a Luddite but its been a struggle to find consistency which is a shame! Because having wireless functionality would be amazing. Perhaps with better software this would be a plus; I see a lot of folks have similar concerns.

Also double-As? Really? Obviously this is meant to be a hot-swappable type of camera, who in from a certain POV can be advantageous. But just put a battery pack in there. Thatd also allow us to mount a pack with the item, in situ, and have months of hands-off functionality. As it stands, those poor souls using alkaline will have to toss ten bucks at this thing every time it runs low.

This is a shame because the unit really does seem sturdy, and has taken some decent shots when its been functioning properly. But its not consistent.

Wildlife Monitoring

This 4G Cellular Trail Camera offers impressive features for outdoor monitoring, including fast photo and video transmission via the 4G network and a solid 90FT night vision range. The no-glow 940nm infrared LEDs are effective for clear nighttime shots without disturbing wildlife. However, some connectivity issues with the app, and the camera's overall build quality could be more durable. The IP66 waterproof rating ensures it holds up well in harsh weather conditions. Ideal for hunters or outdoor enthusiasts, this camera is a reliable choice, but it may require some troubleshooting to get the best results.

Great, easy to set up, great images

This camera is really nice! Set up is easy, just follow the instructions and you'll be ready to go in about 5 minutes. The image quality is great, the strap holds the camera very securely and the case seems to be very stout. Overall, a great camera. Just make sure you realize that after 30 days you have to subscribe and that it only works with AT&T and T-Mobile networks..

Take picture sv6

This OUTDOOR EXPERT 4G Cellular Trail Camera is a fantastic upgrade for serious wildlife enthusiasts. The 4G connectivity is a game-changer C receiving photos and videos directly on my phone without trekking out to swap SD cards is incredibly convenient. The no-glow 940nm infrared flash is truly invisible, ensuring I don't spook the wildlife I'm trying to observe. Image quality is excellent thanks to the 20MP sensor, and the IP66 waterproof rating gives me confidence it can withstand the elements. The 90ft flash range is impressive, capturing clear images even at a distance. Setting up the cellular connection was surprisingly easy. Battery life is good, though I'd recommend keeping an eye on it, as is typical with cellular trail cameras. Overall, this is a highly capable and incredibly convenient trail camera that delivers excellent results.

Great trail cam

Trail cam is made well and its very sturdy for its size. Picture quality is amazing and set up with T-mobile was good. Definitely a great value for your money. I definitely recommend purchasing

Overall, it's good.

Recently purchased some property and I've been setting up trail cameras. I was in need of a couple more to monitor all the trails that I want to for now, and I thought this would be a good fit. So far, so good.

It's easy to setup. I had it setup and receiving photos within an hour, and most of that time was spent walking the trail. The photo clarity is good. Night vision works pretty well. There is an option to upgrade to solar if you want, and I plan on doing that to save batteries.

Only supports AT&T and T-Mobile. I would prefer Verizon to be included but AT&T is a good secondary option. No video transfer via the app, only photos. You get 2000 photos in the first month for free and then you need to pay to view photos on their app. Of course these things are clearly stated in the description, and I was aware of them, but they are still worth mentioning and are downsides to this camera.

Next level in durability focused design.

The first striking thing is shell material because it's not the same type of smooth plastic that I found on cheaper hunt cams.

This plastic material has very fine soft texture to it, it's not a rubbery coating, but and entire material itself.

From the look of this material it has high scratch and damage resistance because unlike regular plastic hard shells, it has flexibility to it.

That flexibility is evident on the swing open front cover. Because this cam does not have a built in LCD screen, cover is very small and it covers only the lower half of the device. The rest of the device is a full shell, making it very durable.

The controls behind the front cover are very simple minimal and it's a good thing.

Unlike other cams, this cam is designed with a removable antenna which is fantastic. Connection is a SMA type threaded connector, while the antenna side is fully shielded by a rubber skirt, making the antenna connection is fully weather protected.

While this cam has a built is tray for 8 double AA batteries, with with the newer type li-ion 1.5 volt rechargeable batteries would take it a long way, this cam has a fully weather proof connector for external solar panel.

That's one of the best parts of this cam feature set. Connector type is a standard two prong which accepts input from all kinds of small size solar panels. The best power range for this would we 5 to 7 watt panel that was a built-in power pack. That way internal power from AA would not even be needed, and if solar panel installation is possible, that would be the nest way to go.

There are other cams that come with solar panels as a bundle, but so far what I've seen is lacking. Those panels are usually low power 2 watt types, and while those type of cams come with rechargeable li-ion power pack, 2 watt panel is just not enough to recharge, especially if there is a cloudy day.

Since this cam is intended to be used with a smart phone, the initial set up is also meant to be done with a smart phone, so the proper position of the cam is made with the smart phone screen.

The main part of this cam is connection via a cell network, and video quality is entirely dependent on the quality of the network signal. Signal strength MUST be checked prior to cam installation.

If the signal is on the weaker side then it would still be possible to download pictures that are stored on the included flash card, but video live video streaming would not be possible.

I'm very happy with the build quality and feature set of this cam, when paired with a good solar panel it makes a great set up.

Excellent Camera, Customer Service Questionable

Honestly, it took a while to figure out how to set this camera up and test it and customer service was totally unresponsive to my query, for which I penalized them a star. But the camera itself, once working, takes amazing photos (see test on my front door). Expect it to take a while to connect to the cell network and you can filter the timeframe you want it to photograph. I plan on moving it down to the vegetable garden to keep track of critters during the growing season. I recommend this based on my experience.

This Is NOT Your Daddy's Ancient Trail Camera! THIS IS THE TOP OF TECHNOLOGY!!

As a Professional Marksman and Competition Firearms Team Member as well as an Avid Hunter I've used a lot of Trail Cameras to track wildlife in areas that I'm hunting! However, the use of this old technology required me to climb a tree to access the unit and then examine the SD Card to see what animals may have passed in the area! Gone are these days as the Cellular Trail Camera is the new way to monitor trails!

This Cellular Trail Camera from Outdoor Expert is excellent! It's built like a rock!! The outer shell feels exactly like some of my Pelican Cases!! It's a Super String Material, 100% Waterproof and is built to last! It comes with an antenna that you need to screw on as well as a strap which you can use to mount it to a tree!

To use this Trail Camera all I had to do was download the App and activate a new account through the OutdoorEXP App. Then you simply scan the QR code on the inside of your Camera and you are in business!!

This Modern Day Trail Camera actually sends your pictures over a 4G Cellular Network which means I no longer have to climb a tree to access the unit to see what Wildlife was present over night or during the day!

I'm super impressed that a technology like this finally exists because it's much more convenient and safer than having to climb a tree everything
Everytime!! I'm rating this unit 5 Stars because it's Awesome!! ?????
