Very worth it

The clarity of the images this camera captures is completely stunning. I was expecting grainy and off colored images like I've seen on so many trail cams but it had good stats despite the low price. I was very pleasantly surprised. It connects up very easily and it's super simple to hang since it comes with a tree band. It's easy to adjust the belt to fit various sizes. The battery is really good and lasts a week or so. You can also set hours to capture so it's not going all the time if you want.

Truly, like this trail, cam, and the small and easy to use.

Truly, like this trail, cam, and the small and easy to use. Count with everything you need. The picture quality could be better, but it would cost more. Overall it is a well-made product that is easy to use.. The housing and plastic material is strong and easy to setup. A good value for the money.the overall picture quality is pretty good, and the battery life was good with the reachable lithium ion batteries that I used .

This gives me such a peace knowing that I'm catching everything I need to

This little mini trail cam fits so many different places that you would not even have a clue. It is great quality and very durably made. It has great connectivity and has excellent motion detection. It is very easy to use and is a great value for the money. The battery life on this is very good. I have this set up beside my storage building to have video of anybody in and out because my storage building is at the back away from the cameras. If you didn't know that it was there you would never be able to point it out. It is very good in camouflaged and it leaves me great images!! This is a great price for your peace of mind.

Worked perfect for hunting 2-legged things too

There have been a rash of thefts in my area, and it became personal when someone stole the plates off my car. I called the county Sheriff's office and they were about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. When they left, I said "Well, I guess I'll have to take matters into my own hands... I'll call you again when I have something you need to pick up." They side-eyed the heck out of me on that one :D Anyway, I picked up one of these cameras, strapped it to a giant water oak next to my driveway, and within 4 nights, I had ALL 3 of the 2-legged animals caught on camera. So far, I can say the quality of the night vision and field of few were ample enough for the local LEO's to make a positive ID on at least two of them - and from what I understand, after they were apprehended, they ratted out the third. I think if you need to catch someone in the act, whether on 2 or 4 legs, you can't go wrong with one of these. Very discreet, especially at night, seems plenty durable, totally affordable, and the motion detection isn't so sensitive that moths set it off.

Big performance

I love being able to move this little cam around with ease. Great addition to existing or as a stand alone. Batteries consumption is great in my opinion. Nice clear images give all the information you need.

Not as good a deal as it appears to be.

This is a neat little unit: simple to set up and use, good picture quality, easy on the batteries. Unfortunately, my specimen quit working properly after only 10 days; the night vision camera failed completely. Don't waste your money on this one.

Mini trail camera that works great!

I love this mini trail camera! It is truly mini.it easily fits in one hand. I like that this camera is more stealthy with its no glow flash & you truly dont notice that its taking pictures or videos if you walk by. I was impressed with the video & picture quality. This camera doesnt come with the 6AA batteries or SD card that it needs but everything else is included & was easy to set up! It came a downpour after I put the trail camera out & it was working perfectly with no problems when I checked the card the next time! The range is pretty good on this camera too. It will pick up anything in frame from the bigger stuff to the smaller stuff like rabbits, birds, & raccoons even when further out. The first set of batteries are still going strong after about three weeks on video mode. Very happy with this trail camera so far!

A Good Choice

This mini trail camera is extremely compact and surprisingly capable for wildlife monitoring, hunting setups, property observation, and outdoor security use. The smaller size makes it much easier to conceal in wooded areas or mount discreetly without drawing attention, and I really liked how lightweight and portable the design feels while still maintaining a rugged outdoor construction. The camouflage-style housing also blends into outdoor environments very naturally.

What impressed me most was the overall image quality and motion detection performance for such a compact camera. The trigger response is quick, the motion activation works reliably, and the 1080P recording quality provides much clearer footage and detail than expected. The no-glow 940nm infrared night vision is another major advantage because it captures nighttime activity discreetly without producing visible light that could spook wildlife or attract attention.

The overall build quality feels very durable and weather resistant as well. The housing feels solid, the buttons and controls are straightforward to use, and the IP66 waterproof design gives confidence for long-term outdoor use in rain, wind, and changing temperatures. The mounting options also make positioning and setup very simple in trees, posts, or outdoor structures.

Another thing I appreciated was how efficient and practical the camera feels during regular use. The compact size makes it easy to carry in a backpack or gear bag, the battery life holds up well, and the viewing screen and controls make setup much more convenient than expected. It works equally well for wildlife observation, trail monitoring, hunting locations, and general outdoor surveillance.

Overall this turned out to be a very practical and well-designed mini trail camera that combines portability, night vision performance, weather resistance, and reliable motion detection extremely well. Between the compact concealment-friendly design, clear video quality, dependable infrared night vision, and durable outdoor construction, it provides a very effective monitoring solution without the bulk of larger trail cameras.

Decent little trail cam.

Not a bad little trail cam. Its easy to use and has a small profile for easy hiding. Does have a mounting point on the bottom for other kinds of mounts but only comes with the strap. Wish it had a built in rechargeable battery but it requires 6 AA batteries. Has the larger sd card slot, but most micro SD cards come with the adapter for that size slot. Menu is pretty simple and easy to navigate for setting up date time ect. Does camera or video mode. Quality is not bad but not super clear. Its a bit grainy in my opinion but not super bad. Night time isnt half bad. Just wish it had rechargeable batteries and or a port for a solar charger, other than that its a great budget trail cam.

Basic yet quality trailcam

This is a pretty basic trailcam without a ton of features, but that's perfect for some situations. The SD card I had experienced no issues with formatting or compatibility, so I adjusted the motion detection sensitivity and set in place.

I was mainly trying to monitor a 4 inch wide tunnel hole on part of my property where the WiFi doesn't reach. The closest tree I had was about the recommended 20 feet away, but I feel like that was still too far because after a few days it didn't pick up anything. So I put a small post in the ground 10 feet away and it identified the rodent squatter the same night.

The video and picture quality is pretty crisp for a camera in this price range, which is nice. The small design helps mount it places I wouldn't be able to mount my full size cameras as well. Having to go get the SD card and plug it into something that can read it, then having to put it back in the camera is definitely an old-school hassle, but it's a lot cheaper than having to get a camera with a Sim card.

Solid Budget Trail Camera C Good Value for the Price

I received this trail camera through the Amazon Vine program and have been using it for a few weeks now. Overall, it feels like a great budget-friendly option for casual wildlife monitoring or property security. The image quality isnt the greatest, especially compared to more expensive models, but it works well enough for basic use. Daytime shots are decent and you can clearly identify animals. Nighttime infrared photos are usable but noticeably grainier and we haven't caught any animals on those frames yet. For the price, its acceptable and gets the job done. Weve only captured squirrels so far, but thats likely due to our camera placement rather than the camera itself. The motion detection is quite sensitive since weve gotten a lot of photos of foliage blowing in the wind or empty scenes. It can be time-consuming to sort through all the blank or near-blank triggers, which is a common issue with many trail cams in this range.
It's an excellent price point for what you get, easy to set up and operate. The motion trigger seems to be reliable, and the battery life has been good so far. The photo quality is good enough for budget use, but not super sharp.
If youre looking for an affordable trail camera to get started with and dont need professional-grade clarity, this is a worthwhile pick. Just plan your placement carefully to minimize false triggers. Id happily recommend it as a solid entry-level or backup camera.

Works well for the price. Good value.

Works great for the price. Picture quality as nice as my moultrie cellular edge 3 with solar but of course that costs 5x more. For a budget trail cam this works great and is very compact and easy to use. I have been happy with the quality and and features. You will need to buy an SD. I recommend a 32gb sd card as thats the biggest sd card it is compatible with. You can hold a LOT of picture on the 32gb.

I had to move it closer to the area I want monitored, but it works!

This OUTDOOR EXPERT 20MP Mini Trail Camera 1080P is a pretty decent camera for the price, but it does have some issues to consider. The setup was very simple. I formatted my 32GB SD card and attached the unit on my front porch to see who is eating the cat food I leave out.
The info says to place it 20 ft away from the area you want to photograph, but I found that it was much too far of a distance to get clear shots. It works much better now that I moved it to no more than 6ft away from the dish.
I need to adjust the sensitivity, because every shadow and wind movement of the flowers sets it off. So it was taking 200+ shots a day of nothing. That wears down the battery and fills up the SD card within days.
The daytime images are clear and detailed. I was quite impressed! The night time images were ok as long as the subject is very close. At a distance it is grainy and difficult to see.
Overall though, it's a great quality unit for the price. It's easy to set up and use, and fun to see who is visiting our feeder.

Working great so far C excited to test it in the field

Ive been using this so far in my backyard, and its been working really well. Everything is easy to use and performs as expected, with no issues during setup or use.

It does exactly what its supposed to do, and the overall quality seems solid. Based on how its performed so far, Im confident it will hold up well in more demanding situations.

Im planning to take it hunting soon, which will be a better test of its performance in the field, but first impressions are definitely positive.

Overall, a great product that works well and shows a lot of promise. Happy with it so far.

A pretty good deal

This trail camera is something that I would normally not rate at 5 stars, as it is really more of a 4 star item, but the price really gives it that bump up. The photos come out pretty good, the instructions and app are ok, and its compact size is super convenient. The batter life is as you would expect if you have used a variety of trail cameras. Always seems like the battery dies right before it was going to get the best pictures. Overall, I was satisfied with this camera's quality and I would buy it again for its low price.

Excellent Night Vision for Wildlife Monitoring

I just unboxed this trail camera and I'm impressed with what OUTDOOR EXPERT has put together here. The 20MP resolution is sharp, and the 1080P video capability should capture plenty of detail for wildlife monitoring on my property. What really stands out is the no-glow 940nm night vision technology. Unlike older infrared cameras that can spook animals with visible red light, this should let me observe deer and other wildlife without disturbing them.

The IP66 waterproof rating gives me confidence I can leave this mounted outdoors through different weather conditions without worrying about damage. The motion activation feature is exactly what I need to avoid wasting battery life on empty footage. The 80-foot illumination range seems solid for a mini camera of this size, which should cover most of my monitoring area effectively.

Build quality feels sturdy and the compact design means I can mount it discreetly. The grey color will blend in better than bright colors. I'm planning to set this up near a game trail this weekend and I'm genuinely excited to see what footage it captures. For the price, this appears to be a well-rounded option for anyone serious about trail monitoring, whether for hunting scouting or general wildlife observation.

Compact Trail Camers

This is a capable little trail camera. Compact it is easy to set up and use. It requires 6 double A batteries and an SD card, neither of which is included. Waterproof it is sturdy. It does not glow at noght. The motion detection works wrll. Picture quality is decent for the price. Not going to land you on the cover of a nature magazine but pretty goid. Nice noyt to be dependent on Wi-Fi or a subscription plan. Comes with a mounting strap. It is small enough to be unnoticeable. It is waterproof and battery life is goid. Nice for the price.

great design, honestly works well

Ive been using this product for a while now, and it has genuinely impressed me with how well it performs in real outdoor conditions, easily earning a full five stars from me.

The image quality is far better than I expected from a compact trail camdaytime shots are crisp and detailed, and the 20MP resolution really brings out clarity in both wildlife and motion?heavy scenes. The no?glow 940nm night vision has been one of the standout features; it captures clear nighttime footage without spooking animals, and the 80?foot illumination range has consistently picked up movement even at the edges of my property. The motion activation is responsive without being overly sensitive, so Im not sorting through endless false triggers from wind or leaves. I also appreciate how rugged and reliable the build isthe IP66 waterproof rating holds up perfectly in rain, humidity, and temperature swings, and I havent had a single issue with moisture or fogging.

Despite its small size, its easy to mount, easy to conceal, and simple to navigate when checking footage or adjusting settings. After using it across different weather conditions and monitoring everything from deer to smaller critters, I honestly cant find anything wrong with it. This product has been a dependable, high?quality trail camera that delivers exactly what you want: clear images, reliable motion detection, and a durable design that just works without any hassle.

Works great

Its a cat, a cat has been spraying or something in my yard and my dog spends 10 minutes in the cold at night when i let him out to go to the bathroom, smelling all the spots, while i freeze. This lil guy is how i know this now. The small size made it easy to get mounted to a small hedge tree branch that might not hold more weight as well and start leaning. Also makes it easy to hide in case your trying to catch someone breaking into something/trespassing. Easy to get setup and going, its a great little trail cam for hunting or security reasons, like catching whats peeing in my yard.
